PARTICIPATORY EVENT Conducted by Seçil Uğur Yavuz at LUNA(Long Night of Researchers) event, at Unibz, Bolzano.
The participatory event was organized during the LUNA event, in September 2019 in order to explore what kind of results can be achieved by combining digital and analog ways of pattern making, collaborating with programmable drawing robots. This workshop helped observe human-robot collaboration in crafting a textile piece and what kind of results could be obtained from this collaboration. The experiment brings human and non-human entities into a physical platform where collaboration occurs to create a collective work by using dyeing and embroidering techniques. The collective making activity becomes a moment of a lived experience through which the participants could make critical questions about craft and technology.
